KULT is a scientific magazine dedicated to Swedish cultural heritage, published by Svenskt Kulturarv.
Released three times a year, KULT is aimed at professionals working with cultural heritage in museums, castles, gardens, tourist offices, and authorities. The magazine focuses on the interaction between institutions and the public, aiming to increase interest in Sweden’s cultural and historical sites.
In the latest issue, our partners Susanne Fredholm and Maria Persson from the University of Gothenburg present the TEHIC project in an article entitled “Understanding Heritage Interpretation through the ‘History of Sweden’.”
Based on the acclaimed national television series ‘Historien om Sverige’, the article explores the content and approaches to communicating history from a heritage interpretation perspective. It highlights the practical applications of this discipline and offers insights into how it enhances our understanding and appreciation of cultural heritage.
